Help us bring the world to Plano, and get community service hours! You and your organization can be involved in many ways, from joining a committee to serving a two-hour shift at the event.

We need help in all of the Festival areas, such as the food court, children’s workshops, booths, Zero Waste program, Fitness and Wellness Fair, and others.
- Most volunteer shifts are 2 hours; Green Ambassador shifts vary.
- Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts
- Community service credit hours will be given for all hours worked
To sign up, please click on the underlined links below:
- Shifts available from 6:30am to 6:00pm on the day of the event, October 19.
- Several shifts are available for pre-event setup on Friday, October 18 at Haggard Park from 4 to 6pm.
> Wellness Fair & Fit Zone Sign-Up
- Shifts available from 8am to 5pm, helping set up, run, and tear down the various health booths and fitness demos.
- Interpreters for Spanish, Russian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Farsi and Mandarin Chinese are needed from 11am to 2pm.
- Wellness Fair is in the Courtyard Theater, next to Haggard Park, and runs from 11am to 2pm.
> Green Ambassador Sign-Up –– We are a Green Event. Our award-winning Zero Waste program has helped divert up to 94% of festival waste from landfill!
- Shifts available from 9:30am to 6:30pm.
- All volunteers must attend a training session ahead of the festival, which counts as a community service hour. Please sign up for this in addition to your desired shift(s) at the link above.
- Responsibilities may include
- Setting up and supervising waste stations, helping visitors sort their trash, and educating them about recycling and composting.
- Assisting with green activities for children or DIY eco-friendly household cleaning products/cosmetics workshop.
